Triumph's Speed 400 and Scrambler 400 X are returning for 2027, which is no surprise as the two TR-Series models have helped boost the British brand's sales volumes to new heights since their introduction in 2024. For 2027, the Triumph Speed 400 gains a new Racing Red and Pewter Grey option with a diagonal Phantom Black stripe on the fuel tank and oversized Triumph triangle logo. It replaces the Lava Red Gloss / Storm Grey option from last year.
High: A Livelier, Re-engineered Triple The centerpiece of the 2026 update is the 660cc inline-Triple engine. Triumph ditched the old single throttle body setup in favor of three individual 44mm throttle bodies, a revised cylinder head, and higher-lift exhaust cams. The result? A massive 13.8 horsepower jump, bringing the total to 94 hp, alongside a 20% higher redline (12,650 rpm).
NEW! Online reservations available until July 31 Last week, we broke the news of the SV-7GX’s impending launch in the U.S. market. Today, Suzuki Motor USA made it official, confirming the new “sport crossover” model is joining its lineup. Austin Forkner: "I’ve made the difficult decision to retire from racing. I feel like the physical and mental toll this sport takes on you is a lot, and I just don't have a lot left to give anymore. I planned on making it to the end of the year, but after my crash in Colorado, my mind is no longer in it, and I feel like finishing the year isn’t smart. My health and family are being put first now so although it’s a tough decision, it’s one I can be happy with.
For the 2027 model year, Suzuki is celebrating the 40th anniversary of the GSX-R series by releasing three distinct variants of its flagship literbike: the GSX-R1000, the GSX-R1000R, and the GSX-R1000RS. While all three models share the same engine and electronic architecture, they are differentiated by chassis components, braking hardware, and aerodynamic accessories.
Sigh: Overly Sensitive, Nanny-Like ABS While having cornering ABS backed by an IMU is great on paper, the system's calibration is incredibly conservative in practice. Even in its least intrusive road modes, the front ABS triggers early and often — especially if you are braking hard over slightly uneven pavement. If you like to ride aggressively, this eager intervention can easily disrupt your flow. But even if you aren’t being aggressive, the early triggering can be an annoyance.
