Commission publishes guidelines on transparency obligations for providers and deployers of certain AI systems
Jul 20, 2026- The European Commission published guidelines to assist providers and deployers of artificial intelligence (AI) systems in meeting the AI Act’s transparency obligations, which start to apply on 2 August 2026. Transparency obligations will help people recognise when they are interacting with AI or when content has been generated or altered by AI, reducing the risk of deception and manipulation.
Probook Raises $40M from Andreessen Horowitz and Sequoia to Scale the AI Operating System for Home Services

The investment comprises a $34 million Series A led by Andreessen Horowitz (a16z) and a $6 million Seed round led by Sequoia Capital. Sequoia also participated in the Series A. Washington has spent three years deciding which chips China is allowed to have. The Chip Security Act asks a different question entirely: where is every advanced American chip, right now, anywhere in the world?
