DP World moves 500,000 TEUs across GCC overland network
DP World has moved 500,000 twenty-foot equivalent units (TEUs) across the GCC through its road and rail network since March this year, giving customers more routing options amid disruption to regional shipping routes. The milestone reflects the growing use of DP World’s inland logistics network as cargo owners and shipping lines seek alternative ways to move goods across the region.

Diamond Logistics expands network into Northern Ireland
Logistics and fulfilment specialist, Diamond Logistics, has expanded its rapidly growing partner network into Northern Ireland. Joining the network is The Postal Store, based in Strabane, which operates 12,000 sq. ft. of warehousing and fulfilment space across five facilities, providing storage, pick and pack, multi-carrier delivery and eCommerce fulfilment services for businesses across the UK and Ireland.
Maersk expands partnership with Columbia Sportswear with UK warehousing and distribution agreement
A.P. Moller - Maersk (Maersk) has signed a new agreement with Columbia Sportswear Company (Columbia), a global leader in outdoor, active and lifestyle products, to provide warehousing and distribution services for its Pick & Pack operations in the United Kingdom and Ireland. Under the agreement, Maersk will operate Columbia’s UK and Ireland Pick & Pack business from its existing multi-customer facility in Tamworth near Birmingham, UK.

A Plessas Transport expands Krone fleet with further container equipment investment
A Plessas Transport has continued to expand its container transport capability with a significant investment in Krone equipment, taking delivery of 18 Krone Box Liner FS10 sliding chassis trailers over the past 12 months, alongside three Krone eLT3-40 straight frames. Green investment for West Yorkshire logistics specialist
A West Yorkshire logistics specialist is going the extra mile as it continues to invest in its sustainability strategy. Keighley-based Joda Freight has invested more than £250,000 in green technology as part of its ongoing sustainability journey. The investment has enabled the firm to install solar panels on the roof of its warehouse and transition its diesel forklift trucks to electric, while further investments in electric vehicles will be made later in the year.
DP World H1 revenue rises 13.1% to $12.7 billion as global portfolio navigates trade disruption
DP World reported revenue of $12.7 billion for the first half of 2026, up 13.1% year-on-year, as the strength of its global network helped the company navigate significant disruption to trade flows in the Middle East. Growth across Logistics, Marine Services and DP World’s international Ports and Terminals portfolio helped offset lower activity at Jebel Ali.
