The Missouri Tigers intercollegiate athletics programs represent the University of Missouri, located in Columbia. The name comes from a band of armed Union Home Guards called the Fighting Tigers of Columbia who, in 1864, protected Columbia from Confederate guerrillas during the American Civil War.

The University of Missouri (often referred to as Mizzou or MU) is the flagship institution of the University of Missouri System. Mizzou is a member of the Southeastern Conference (SEC) and is the only NCAA Football Bowl Subdivision program in Missouri. Its wrestling program, the only wrestling program sponsored by an SEC member school, competes as an affiliate member of the Big 12 Conference. Source

After falling beind 3-0 on an early Aggie field goal, Mizzou posted 20 unanswered points between the second and third quarters to separate from A&M and closed out the 21-point victory in the fourth. Running back Jamal Roberts drove the MU offense, tallying 222 yards on 34 carries with a pair of touchdowns.

MADISON, Wisc. – Mizzou cross country saw its No. 19 women’s team take ninth at the Nuttycombe Invitational on Friday morning at the Thomas Zimmer Championship Course. This marks the Tigers’ highest finish in the premier cross country event in their third time running the event, previously earning a 20th-place result in 2019 and 33rd in 2021.
