Dear friend, Since May, Malcolm Roberts has been under sustained attack from some of the biggest media outlets in the country. Roberts is a Queensland senator for Pauline Hanson’s One Nation. He is best known for the work he does in Senate Estimates, where ministers and senior public servants are questioned about government spending, policy failures, and bureaucratic decisions. He turns up prepared, follows a line of inquiry, and keeps going when officials try to bury him in waffle.

Another white young man is attacked in the street, police step in, and somehow the man on the ground ends up feeling the full force of the law while those who attacked him get away scot-free. We saw something far worse with Henry Nowak. Henry had been stabbed five times.

On 10 July, the taxpayer-funded national broadcaster ran a story under this headline: “Climate change becoming a major driver of child marriage across Asia and the Pacific.” Young girls are being pulled out of school and handed over to adult men in marriages they never chose, and the ABC wants you squinting at carbon dioxide. Not the adults arranging the marriages. Not the men taking child brides.

The demographic decline unfolding across much of the developed world is set to get far worse. Headlines once focused on young people delaying having children. Today, the deeper crisis is that many in Gen Z are not even forming long-term relationships in the first place.
