NATO Secretary General attends meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris
On Monday (13 July 2026), NATO Secretary General Mark Rutte attended a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing in Paris. The meeting was co-chaired by the President of France Emmanuel Macron, the Prime Minister of the United Kingdom Sir Keir Starmer, together with German Chancellor Friedrich Merz. They were joined by the President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The Secretary General stressed that continued strong support for Ukraine was a top priority for NATO.

NATO Secretary General to travel to the Republic of France
On Tuesday 14th July 2026, at the invitation of the President Emmanuel Macron of the Republic of France, the NATO Secretary General Mr. Mark Rutte will attend the Bastille Day parade, in Paris, France. On Monday 13th July 2026, in the margins of the celebration, Mr. Rutte will participate in a meeting of the Coalition of the Willing. There will be no media opportunity. Photographs will be available on the NATO website after the event.
