Pairings | Results Final Round Calgon GC hung on to make it a wire-to-wire win at the annual NCGA Senior Four-Ball Net Championship. Calgon GC, made up of teammates James Eldridge and William Weisberg, carded a final round 6-under 65 to finish the two-day event at 18-under 124. The key for Calgon GC, which is named that way due to the two having friends in both California and Oregon, was a first round 59.

While Pebble Beach Golf Links is known as the Greatest Meeting of Land and Sea, its sister--Spyglass Hill Golf Course—has been dubbed the Greatest Meeting of Sand and Trees. Designed by World Golf Hall of Fame and NCGA Hall of Fame golf course architect Robert Trent Jones, Sr. and opened in 1966, Spyglass Hill, an annual co-host of the AT&T Pebble Beach Pro-Am, winds through majestic dunes near the shores of the Pacific before traversing through the serenity of the Del Monte Forest.

Pairings | Results August 24, 2026 Davis Golf Course has put itself in great position after opening day of the annual NCGA Zone Championship. Davis GC, made up of teammates Marshall Bambino, Fred Muller, Matthew Muller and Clifton Wentworth, posted a first round score of 23-under 121 Monday at Bayonet GC in Seaside. The next closest teams--Napa GC, Alta Sierra CC, Boulder Creek GC and Glenn G&CC--are eight strokes back at 129. Davis GC has never won the event.

Pairings | Results August 24, 2026 Perhaps they are indeed another group of superheroes. Incredibles GC grabbed the lead in this year's NCGA Associate Club Championship, carding a score of 11-under 133 in Monday's first round on Black Horse GC in Seaside. Incredibles GC is made up of teammates Kevin Narimatsu, Chris Hirano, Shin Kim and Louis Fong. Just a shot back at 10-under 134 are Santa Clara GC and Blarneyballers GC.

The NCGA was saddened to hear of the recent passing of former President Gary Vandeweghe. Vandeweghe, who served as president of the NCGA in 2002 and was honored with the NCGA’s Distinguished Service Award in 2011, was one of the six founders of Cobra Golf Company. Due to his experience, Vandeweghe in 1991 was nominated to the NCGA Board of Directors. He’d go on to serve in many capacities at the NCGA for over 11 years.

NCGA alum and San Jose native Kiara Romero has won the Mark H. McCormack Medal as the leading female golfer in the World Amateur Golf Ranking®/WAGR® for the second consecutive year. The 20-year-old Romero, who was the NCGA's Women's Player of the Year for the 2024-25 season, earned the prestigious honor after another strong campaign that saw her hold off Spain’s Paula Martín Sampedro.

For a 17-year-old golf superstar, Asterisk Talley, of Chowchilla, has already endured her share of heartbreak. She burst onto the national scene at the 2024 U.S. Women’s Open Presented by Ally at Lancaster Country Club, where, at just 15, she found herself two strokes off the lead after the opening round.

Pairings | Results August 11, 2026 Mark Morgan took another step towards his first NCGA Super Senior title. Morgan, the NCGA Senior Player of the Year honors in both 2020 and 2021 and the No.1 seed, opened match play with a solid 7 and 6 victory over No.16 Terry Foreman. Foreman, who won the NCGA Super Senior title in 2024, did not have his best day, going 7-over par through the first nine holes. The opportunistic Morgan took advantage, building a 7-up lead through nine.

Pairings | Results August 10, 2026 Joy Robinson, a member at Monterey Peninsula CC, will be the No.1 seed for match play. Robinson earned medalist honors Monday at Poppy Hills after posting a stroke play qualifying score of 3-over 74. The event is in its second year.NCGA Hall of Famer Tina Barker, who finished T-4 at 78, is the defending champion. Sally Krueger, another Hall of Famer, also made the cut, shooting 78. Tuesday's action will consist of the opening Round of 8 of match play.

Pairings | Results August 11, 2026 If No.1 seed Bob Niger goes on to win the NCGA Senior Amateur, he can point back to being tested. Niger, the NCGA Super Senior Player of the Year in 2024-25, was nearly eliminated from the brackets not once, but twice on Tuesday. In his opener vs. No. 32 Chris Candelario, Niger trailed 1-up through 12 holes before a late rally. Niger would birdie holes Nos. 13 and 14 to grab a 1-up lead and held on from there for a 2 and 1 victory.
