By Liza Caulfield So the news is finally out! Our group is growing and changing with the addition of Glee Men to our gang. The men operate from Unit 18 on Macken Street Dublin 2 as part of Trinity in the Community. Our name has now changed to Glee Choirs Dublin. Our other big change is; from September, the women and kids classes will take place in St Matthew’s Church Irishtown.

Since then, they have competed in numerous international competitions, reaching new milestones along the way.

If someone had told us back in May that we’d be wishing for a drop of rain, we’d have laughed in yo face. By Margaret Dunne Congratulations to the St. Patrick’s Boys and Girls National School in Ringsend, for coming out with our Tidytowns volunteers in June and doing a great litter pick around the area, what a wonderful job they all did and afterwards they got a lesson from Aishling, from Clean Coasts Ireland about keeping the environment and rivers clean and talking about the importance of everyone, young and old doing their bit for the environment.

This marked the start of the first of two guided walking tours along the Celtic Camino route from Bray.

The club does great work in the Ballsbridge area and beyond, and they state they are a local, volunteer-led non-profit organisation serving the Dublin 4 and wider Dublin areas. As part of the global Lions Clubs International network, the club’s mission is to tackle local needs through community action, charity fundraising, and social support projects.
