LOUISVILLE, Ky. — The NFCA recently added three new names to the list of individuals who have achieved National Fastpitch Coaches College (NFCC) Four-Star Master Coach status. Kevin Bednoski of Virginia Glory, Peter Fernandes of Emerson College and Todd Marino of Concord Academy joined the elite group of coaches who have completed all eight NFCC classes.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Onform has signed a multi-year deal as the NFCA’s newest Official Sponsor, the Association announced on Wednesday afternoon. A powerful sports coaching app that helps coaches elevate athlete performance through video analysis, Onform will have a pronounced presence at the NFCA Convention, including a batting cage presentation and a video advertisement, both opportunities to grab the attention of attendees from all around the country and abroad.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – The National Fastpitch Coaches Association announced the 195 student-athletes from 88 schools who comprise the 2026 Spring High School All-Region teams. Region III’s Kennewick High (Wash.) topped all programs with six players voted to its regional list — all on the second team — while six other schools saw five players selected.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Over the course of the NFCA’s 2026 collegiate awards season, the Association recognized nine student-athletes as New Balance/NFCA Golden Shoe Award recipients. Announced during each division’s All-America or Special Awards release, the distinction is bestowed on the student-athlete who was voted as the top base stealer.

Karen Sanders is the head coach at Valley View High School in Arkansas and a longtime coach and educator who has led teams to state championships in three different sports. She is in her first year as the High School Representative on the NFCA Board of Directors and also serves as the Executive Director of the Arkansas High School Fastpitch Coaches Association.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Repeat national champion University of Texas at Austin was voted by its peers as the 2026 ATEC/NFCA Division I National Coaching Staff of the Year, the Association announced on Thursday afternoon. After sweeping through regionals, Texas’ road to the national championship was a little bit tougher, dropping both its Super Regional and Women’s College World Series openers.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. — Undefeated Kentucky champion South Warren overtook Orange Beach for the No. 1 spot in the final NFCA Spring High School Top 25 Coaches Poll of the season, the Association announced on Thursday. The (45-0) Spartans pitched back-to-back shutouts to close out their first state softball crown over the weekend at the University of Kentucky’s John Cropp Stadium.

LOUISVILLE, Ky. – Over the course of the NFCA’s 2026 collegiate awards season, the Association recognized nine student-athletes as Diamond Sports/NFCA Catchers of the Year. Announced during a division’s All-America or Major Awards release, the distinction is bestowed on the student-athlete who was voted a first-team All-America catcher.
