Aaron Donald is back with the Los Angeles Rams. It actually happened. The all-time player signed a one-year deal to return to the Rams, and it can be worth up to $30 million, so he absolutely got a major payday despite being out of the league for a bit. The Rams likely don't sign Donald to that contract unless they have extremely high hopes for him and plan on playing him a ton.

How can you not love a good undrafted rookie free agent story in the NFL? The Green Bay Packers might have found the top gem of the 2026 undrafted free agent class with rookie wide receiver J. Michael Sturdivant, who not only cracked the 53-man roster, but might be able to get into the rotation for the offense this season. Sturdivant had a very long journey at the college level, going from Cal to UCLA before finishing at Florida in the 2025 season.

In an offseason where more teams than ever before seem to be hoarding quarterbacks -- a handful of teams even keeping four of them -- the Dallas Cowboys are giving a good one away. After a really good preseason with Dallas, the Cowboys are apparently sending Joe Milton to the waiver wire. After being awarded running back Emari Demercado on waivers, the Cowboys had to make a corresponding move, an this was the one they chose to make.

The preseason flew by, NFL roster cuts have come and gone, and now the regular season is on deck. As slow as the offseason may have felt, we've finally arrived, football fans. After roster cuts around the league, it's interesting to do a little reading between the lines, following the breadcrumbs, and connecting dots. By making certain moves, teams inherently put a little bit more pressure on players they kept on the roster, whether they realize it or not.

The NFL just proved something at roster cuts: The 2026 rookie quarterback class is a lot better than anyone expected it to be. There were 10 quarterbacks selected in the 2026 NFL Draft, including Fernando Mendoza with the 1st overall pick by the Las Vegas Raiders. Alabama's Ty Simpson was the only other quarterback taken in the 1st round (Los Angeles Rams), and as a matter of fact, was the only other quarterback selected within the first two rounds.

After what we all witnessed in the 2025 season for the Buffalo Bills, one of the non-negotiable areas GM Brandon Beane had to upgrade the roster was at the wide receiver position. Beane recognized that early on in the offseason, making a big trade with the Chicago Bears to acquire veteran DJ Moore, but that was only the beginning. Even after a rough start to his NFL career, the Bills stuck by Keon Coleman, who is getting another shot in 2026.

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers have had their share of quarterback drama in the 2026 offseason, specifically surrounding the contract negotiations with starter Baker Mayfield. While Mayfield and the organization were going through some rough waters, rookie UDFA Jalon Daniels was quietly stealing some of the spotlight. To say the Buccaneers weren't at the front of the line for rookie quarterbacks in the 2026 offseason would be an understatement.

The NFC East is always going to draw a lot of eyes, but this could be one of the most fascinating years for the division that we've had in some time. The Eagles have been title contenders for a while now, and the Cowboys might enter the conversation if their defense can take a big leap this season.
