The 5 Most Underrated Whitesnake Songs
Here are the five of Whitesnake's most underrated songs. Although Whitesnake will forever be sewn into the fabric of not only American, but international pop culture with their 1987 self-titled album (and specifically "Here I Go Again"), there is so much more to the British hard rock band as well as so many other songs hidden within the band's discography that never truly got their time to shine in the sun.
11 Best Melodic Death Metal Albums of the 1990s
Here's the 11 best melodic death metal albums of the 1990s. Melodic death metal— or melodeath if you're in the know — is largely credited to the Swedes, along with the English death metal band Carcass, in the early-to-mid 1990s. Iron Maiden's Run For Your Lives 50th anniversary tour finally touched down in the U.S. last night (Sept. 5) at the Sports Illustrated Stadium (yes — a stadium) in Harrison, New Jersey. Despite not yet being 40, I've been a fan of the band's professional recording era (which starts in 1980) for half of their career now, awakening to the Beast back in 2003, a few months before the release of Dance of Death.
5 Great Prog Metal Bands Who Only Released 1 Album
Here are five great prog metal bands who only released one album! It frequently takes multiple LPs for a band to prove that they’re truly great. As Loudwire already highlighted with our list of five great prog rock bands who only released one album, though, sometimes a group comes out of nowhere, blows you away with their debut disc and then bows out before continuing that excellence or ruining their reputation with a follow-up.

As I Lay Dying teased two "polarizing" new songs in a social media post today (Sept. 8) and want fans to help finalize their upcoming new album's track listing. In a video shared on the band and Tim Lambesis' Instagram accounts, the frontman revealed that they've completed their ninth studio album and are trying to decide on the final track listing. They apparently recorded 12 songs and only intended to keep 10 for the record, which is why they're recruiting help from their fans.

All four of the other Every Time I Die band members have now shared their personal reflections on the death of guitarist Andy Williams, who died over the weekend at a wrestling event taking place in Pennsylvania at the age of 48. Every Time I Die split in 2022 amid internal tensions within the group, but each of Williams' bandmates at the time of the split all shared loving messages upon learning of his death over the weekend.
Rock + Metal Bands That Released Albums 40 Years Apart
Here are examples of rock and metal bands that released albums 40 years apart from each other. Think about what that means for a moment — the band had to have been actively making new music four decades after the initial release. There are a lot of rock and metal bands that are still touring after 40 and even 50 years but most of them aren't still putting out full studio albums after that amount of time. A handful of artists have been making albums for over four decades, though.
