North Loop Launches Waste Reduction Effort July 27, 2026 The North Loop Neighborhood Association (NLNA), in a partnership with Clean Water Fund (CWF), is launching a new “Waste Reduction Innovation District” in the neighborhood to drastically reduce the trash we create, increase what we recycle and learn to re-use items we would normally throw away. The initiative will be officiallly launched at Fulton Taproom on Saturday, August 22.
Sip & Bloom – Coffee, Flowers & Big Ideas
Join us in the Hewing lobby coffee bar from 1:00–3:00 p.m. for an open-house-style afternoon of conversation, connection and a little floral inspiration. This event is completely free. Come for a few minutes or stay awhile. Beverages and food will be available for purchase from the coffee bar.
Doggie Style Dog Event at Graze
« All Events Bring you well-behaved pups to the YARD for Yappy Hour Treats and The Lucky One Cutest Dog Contest! We’ll take photos of your pooch from 3-5pm to be entered online. Bring a donation for the Animal Humane Society and receive a free Lucky One vodka lemonade (or N/A bev). Recommended Donations: new or gently used harnesses and collars (small for cats and dogs), new enrichment toys, cat/dog food, new or gently used leashes, and cat litter.

Vintage Pop-Up Flea Markets is back! Browse unique vintage finds, rare collectibles and handmade goods. Stop by North Loop Green on Saturday from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. and enjoy the lively atmosphere with music and local vendors. RSVP not required and this event is free to the public.

That’s the philosophy Sorena Beng, owner of Jade Beauty, brings to North Loop’s newest salon. “We really believe that you can express yourself through your beauty, but specifically nail art. It’s a really fun way to just get your personality across on a really tiny canvas,” Beng explained. “A lot of people, especially in the business world, you don’t get a lot of creativity with what you wear.
