They are buying items regulated by the National Firearms Act (NFA) in huge numbers. That includes suppressors, short-barrel rifles (SBRs) and short-barrel shotguns (SBSs). For all intents and purposes, though, they’re already here and antigun politicians in Washington, D.C., are signaling that what’s actually at stake is the future of the U.S. Supreme Court. U.S. Rep. Pramila Jayapal (D-Wash.) made it clear that expanding and overhauling the nation’s highest court to bend to an antigun agenda, through a scheme known as SCOTUS court packing, is “absolutely” in play.

I had mixed emotions when the U.S. Supreme Court announced it was going to hear arguments challenging bans on the sale of Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs). First, I was downright giddy. Then, with a sigh, I thought, “It’s about time.” In fact, NSSF used the word “elated” in our statement upon hearing that Viramontes v. Cook County and Grant v. Higgins will be heard by the Supreme Court in the next session.

Abigail Spanberger and her gun control lackeys in the Assembly rushed through a half-cooked unconstitutional ban on the sale of Modern Sporting Rifles (MSRs) and other commonly owned firearms and standard capacity magazines. Once again, predictions of a rush to buy the guns Virginians (and the rest of America) want bore out.
