#SpotLAX2024 is only five months away! From September 13th through 15th, we will once again meet at Los Angeles International Airport. We know many of you are eager to begin planning for this year’s event, and we have some exciting announcements for you below. If you’ve never attended SpotLAX, it’s a weekend long gathering of planespotters and aviation enthusiasts, which we have been hosting since 2013. For 10 years now, I have been hearing about the SpotLAX events. Each year, I would end up sitting at home staring at all the pictures and reading about the events. It made me very envious! When the dates for  the 10th anniversary SpotLAX2023 event were posted, I realized that the time had come to actually attend the event. I had only be to Los Angeles once before, and that was more than 10 years ago. During that trip, I had managed to spot at the Proud Bird Restaurant for a few hours.

Last month’s 10th anniversary SpotLAX event was one for the ages. We had our best turnout ever, and many attendees remarked that this was the best SpotLAX they had been to. New for this year was a rooftop spotting party at the H Hotel Los Angeles that saw nearly 200 people attend, easily our largest gathering of all time. Today, we’re thrilled to announce the dates for next year’s SpotLAX event. #SpotLAX2024 will take place September 13-15th 2024.

The 10th anniversary of SpotLAX, #SpotLAX2023 is just about 2 weeks away. Here’s all the information you will need to make the most of this exciting event! First off, a note on activities. SpotLAX was initially conceived as an informal gathering of planespotters, and that spirit largely remains today. It’s an event where groups of friends both new and old gather to chat, enjoy the aviation ambiance, and take photos. We want all to feel welcomed at SpotLAX, especially our new attendees.

Summer is just a week away! And that can only mean one thing around here: it’s time to start planning #SpotLAX2023. As previously announced, #SpotLAX2023 will be held the weekend of September 8-10, 2023. This year marks the 10th anniversary of SpotLAX! Our team is so excited to celebrate with all of you.
