ECITB’s SBT training standards ‘absolutely critical’ for major hydrogen projects

Technip-led JV wins EPCC contract for North Field West LNG project
The project will create two mega-trains, each designed to produce 8mtpa of LNG. A Technip Energies-led joint venture (JV) has won a contract from QatarEnergy pertaining to the North Field West project’s onshore liquefied natural gas (LNG) facilities in Qatar. The JV, dubbed T.ENCCCGAC, also includes Consolidated Contractors Company (CCC) and Gulf Asia Contracting (GAC). The scope covers engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning (EPCC) services.
WFW advises RWE on Vestas turbine supply agreement
Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has advised RWE on its contract with Vestas for the supply of turbines to its Vanguard West offshore wind project in Norfolk, UK. Under the agreement, Vestas is contracted to supply, deliver, and commission 92 of its V236 15 MW offshore wind turbines for the project. RWE recently secured a contract for difference (CfD) for the Vanguard West project as part of the UK government’s Allocation Round 7, with commissioning expected in 2029.

Subsea7 improves performance ahead of Saipem merger
Subsea7 and Saipem awaiting regulatory approvals, with completion of the merger expected in the second half of the year Norwegian energy services contractor Subsea7 has reported revenues in line with analysts’ consensus for the fourth quarter of 2025, though net income was below forecasts.
