A 22-year-old Traverse City man has been charged with Operating While Intoxicated Causing Death in connection with the August 16 head-on crash on Center Road that killed 17-year-old Wilder Seeburger. Grand Traverse County Prosecuting Attorney Noelle Moeggenberg announced Tuesday that Benjamin Leask, 22, has been charged with the felony.

A serious head-on collision left one driver hospitalized with significant leg injuries and prompted an overnight emergency response on Center Road between Mapleton and Smokey Hollow Road on August 16. The crash occurred around 10:30 p.m., when two vehicles collided head-on.
