Welcome to the latest One More Catch weekly newsletter, offering you a guide to the week ahead in Pokémon Go. I hope everyone is well rested after Frigibax Community Day, and that yours was a lucrative afternoon (mine certainly was). Coming up is a bird-heavy week, with a new Gen 9 Pokémon starting the week, and a less exciting Super Mega Raid debut ending it. There's also the next Team Go Rocket takeover and the latest opportunity to get a rare Super Rocket Radar.

Pokémon Go's 10th Anniversary takes place in early July, and it'll be celebrated with three events over 10 days. Leading up to the anniversary date itself on Monday, 6th July is the weekend '10th Anniversary Party' event, before rolling into a busy Go Fest: Global build-up with the 'Road to Legends' event with, yes, the return of a Gold Bottle Cap, followed by the big weekend itself on 11th and 12th July with the debut of Mega Mewtwo and much more.

Now Copenhagen has come and gone, I’ve attended five Pokémon Go Fests at this point. There was the disastrous first, the next a couple of years later in Chicago when Niantic had righted the ship, a great local leg in London and a sweltering showing in Paris last year.

Staraptor and Mega Staraptor are new additions to Pokémon Champions as of Season M-3 and the Pokémon Champions roster refresh. The Gen 4 Normal- and Flying-type has seen a lot of interest at launch due to Mega Staraptor's Ability, Contrary, that reverses any stat changes that take place during battle.

Pokémon Champions was updated to version 1.1.0 today alongside the arrival of Season M-3, Regulation M-B and a mobile release, and while the patch also offers "fixes to the visuals during battles and certain network-related issues", one bug remains outstanding - the Switch 2 low resolution dock issue. If you weren't aware, since launch the Switch 2 version of Pokémon Champions in TV Mode runs at a lower resolution until you physically remove the console from the dock and reinsert it again.

As well as what Pokémon which are eligible, it also outlines the mechanics and held items allowed, and the timers for match lengths and decision making. 'Choose Your Path: Fossil Fun' - also known as 'Choose Your Own Daily Path' - is a branching questline in Pokémon Go. Running between 10am on Wednesday, 17th June and Sunday, 21st June at 8pm, it's the latest in a series of Explore, Catch, Battle quests that appear during non-event weeks. However, a key change from previous Choose a Path quests is that some players get a new choice each day, while others have their choice for the rest of the week.

It's a new season in Pokémon Champions, with easily the biggest additions to the game so far. So what's new? Well, a mobile release for one, but perhaps most importantly, the arrival of a new Regulation and an expanded Pokémon Champions roster. There's also the usual additions of a Battle Pass with new cosmetics and rewards to unlock, giving you something to aim for before Season M-4 arrives. Season M-4 is the next major update to competitive battler Pokémon Champions. Due in early July, as with previous seasons it'll usher in a new Regulation Set and a new Battle Pass.
