Registration is open to attend the Wastewater Equipment (WEQ) Fair in Nashville, Tennessee, Oct. 5-7. Rules and Regs: Hurricane Helene Septic Repair Funds Available
Under the Hurricane Helene emergency designation, the State Water Infrastructure Authority in North Carolina will award up to $22.5 million for septic repairs and replacement or sewer connection, according to a news release from the Department of Environmental Quality. Although property owners with septic systems damaged by Hurricane Helene have priority, other property owners also may apply for financial assistance to repair or replace a failing septic system.
