At San Diego Comic-Con 2026, the newest anime in the Gundam series, Mobile Suit Gundam RG XARX-ZERO, was announced. It is written and directed by Kenji Kamiyama who is known for working on Ghost in the Shell: Stand Alone Complex. XARX-ZERO is part of a new multi-media universe by Kamiyama known as RG Project where “entries share a narrative spanning generations within one continuous world.” GUNDAM ROGUE ORBIT, a recently announced game in the Gundam series, is also a part of RG Project.

A new trailer is now available for part 2 of the Honkai: Star Rail x Fate/stay night [Unlimited Blade Works] collaboration event. The trailer features Star Rail newcomers, Gilgamesh and Rin Tohsaka, as well as returning characters from the first Fate collaboration. The Trailblazer and Castorice also appear in the trailer. The next entry in the Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya anime series, Fate/kaleid liner Prima Illya FINALE, has been announced as a TV anime series scheduled to air in 2027. The sequel to Fate/kaleid liner Prisma Illya: Licht Nameless Girl was previously announced in 2021, but little was revealed about it, until now.

Acacia announced that the multi-language localization for Magical Girl Witch Trials (Maho Shojo no Majo Saiban) will now be coming to the Nintendo Switch version in addition to the previously announced PC version update. The localization will support English, French, Spanish, and Korean. Those who purchased the original Japanese-language or Chinese-language Switch versions will receive the localization update.

SQUARE ENIX has released Star Ocean: The Second Story R digitally on Nintendo Switch 2. The 2.5D remake previously released in November 2023 for PlayStation 5, PlayStation 4, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam. The Switch 2 version features increased texture resolution and aims for 1080p and 60FPS in both handheld and docked modes. In comparison, the Nintendo Switch version is 576p handheld and 864p docked while aiming for 30FPS. The Nintendo Switch 2 version is available now and costs $49.99.

Nihon Falcom has released dual-dimension action RPG, Kyoto Xanadu -the Blooming Phantom, for PlayStation 5, Nintendo Switch 2, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam in Japan. Clouded Leopard Entertainment released the game on the same date for the same platforms in Asian regions outside Japan. The Asian region release supports Korean, Traditional Chinese, and Simplified Chinese text.

NIS America has just announced a brand new 4-player party game called Prinny Party: Going Overboard!, which will be releasing sometime later this year according to the description on the announcement trailer. A more specific release date hasn’t yet been announced at this time and no date at all is mentioned in the press release. What the press release does mention though, are platforms. Prinny Party: Going Overboard! will be available for Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, PS5 and PC via Steam.

The Warehouse individual open hours are from Noon to 5 PM (with last admission at 4:30) on Saturdays and pre-registration is required. Group tours for 10 to 40 people are available Tuesdays through Fridays from 10 AM to 5 PM, and are required to be scheduled at least three weeks in advance. The Warehouse is located at 14105 Inwood Road, Dallas, Texas, 75244 and there is free parking on site.

Armiger Entertainment announced that the Tenchi Galaxy anime pilot Kickstarter has hit its initial funding goal of $400,000 in less than 48 hours. The anime is a new entry in the Tenchi Muyo! franchise and spiritual sequel to the Tenchi Universe anime. The English cast for the new anime has many returning voices as well as newcomers to the series voice cast, Cristina Vee (Ayeka) and Hololive English Advent’s Nerissa Ravencroft (Risa, The Space Pirate).

Acacia has revealed that the previously announced multiple languages localization of Magical Girl Witch Trials (Maho Shojo no Majo Saiban) is planned to release by the end of 2026. The additional languages include English, French, Spanish, and Korean. The localization will be a free update to the existing game already available on Steam. Those who already own the game on Steam will receive a free update (once available) to add the new languages.
