Oxford United Confirm Second Home Pre-Season Friendly
Oxford United can confirm Ipswich Town will return to the Kassam Stadium for a pre-season friendly. The game against the now Premier League side will take place in Oxford on Saturday 1 August and will kick-off at 12:00pm. It will be United's fourth pre-season game, following away fixtures against Aldershot Town on Tuesday 21 July and Barnet on Saturday 25 July, and another home game against Crawley Town on Tuesday 28 July.

Season Ticket Renewal Deadline! Season Ticket sales for 2026/27 have smashed all previous League One records at the Kassam Stadium. Due to demand and significant interest in General Sale availability, we would like to remind all supporters who are yet to renew their Season Ticket for the new campaign, they have until 3:00pm TODAY (Tuesday 16 June) to do so, after which time their seat will be released for general sale. Oxford United Confirm Additional Pre-Season Fixture
Oxford United can confirm a further pre-season fixture as preparations continue for the 2026/27 campaign. Following the squad’s return to Oxford from their warm-weather training camp in Spain, the U’s will host Crawley Town at the Kassam Stadium on Tuesday 28 July, with kick-off at 7:00pm. This match follows our previously announced pre-season fixtures away to Aldershot Town on Tuesday 21 July and Barnet on Saturday 25 July.
U's In International Action
A number of Oxford United stars were in action for their countries over the last couple of weeks. Ciaron Brown, Jamie McDonnell and Brodie Spencer were all called up to represent Northern Ireland during the international break, featuring in friendly fixtures against Guinea and France. Meanwhile, Ole Romeny and Marselino Ferdinan were in action for Indonesia as they took on Oman and Mozambique in a pair of friendly matches.

Oxford United Travel To Barnet in Pre-Season Friendly
Oxford United will travel to face Barnet in a pre-season friendly ahead of the new league season. The fixture will be United's second friendly of July, making the short journey to take on the League Two side at The Hive on Saturday 25 July with a 3:00pm kick-off. Further fixtures will be announced in due course alongside ticketing news.
Head of Recruitment Scott Mitchell Departs Oxford United
Oxford United can confirm that Head of Recruitment, Scott Mitchell, will leave the Club with immediate effect. Mitchell joined the Club in November 2024 and now moves to Leyton Orient to take on the role of Director of Football. Ed Waldron, Head of Football Operations, said: “I’d like to extend my thanks to Scott for all his hard work and dedication over the past 18 months.
Pre-Season Update: Oxford United Travel To Spain
Oxford United will travel to Spain this summer as preparations begin for the 2026/27 campaign. United’s players will report back for pre-season on Friday 26 June, with the opening fortnight held at the Club’s Training Centre to build fitness ahead of the EFL Sky Bet League One season.
