Argyle were defeated 3-0 by St Patrick’s Athletic in the Boys’ Junior SuperCupNI final on Friday afternoon. Despite not coming away as victors at the Coleraine Showground, Head Coach Dan Thompson’s side made all of those within Home Park extremely proud, reaching the final stage for the first time in the Academy’s history.
Argyle defeat County Antrim to secure place in SuperCupNI Final
Argyle confirmed their place in the final of the Boys’ Junior SuperCup on Thursday afternoon with a 3-2 victory over County Antrim at the Riada Stadium. Head Coach Dan Thompson was forced into one change, with Freddie Lewis missing out through suspension, but the Greens continued their fine run of form in Northern Ireland, despite going behind early.
Time Changes For Two Home Fixtures
Argyle's home fixtures in October against AFC Wimbledon and Reading have had their kick-off times changed. This is due to the games being selected for Sky Sports television coverage. While the dates of the games have not been affected, the kick-off times have been changed from 3pm to 12.30pm. The confirmed fixtures are as follows: Argyle vs AFC Wimbledon - Saturday, 10 October, 12.30pm. Argyle vs Reading - Saturday, 31 October, 12.30pm. Further fixture information will be confirmed in due course.

Argyle’s SuperCupNI squad confirmed their place in the Boys’ Junior SuperCup semi-final with a 1-1 draw against County Londonderry on Wednesday afternoon. The Greens headed into the game top of Group D, following wins over Chicago City and Tottenham Hotspur, needing just a point to confirm their spot in the premier final bracket in Northern Ireland.
