Assessing the alignment of climate initiatives with the Paris goals This study aims to assess the alignment of mitigation climate initiatives categorised under the Action Agenda thematic objectives with the Paris goals. By selecting relevant indicators per objective, we illustrate this alignment. The results show that, in total, they align with global below 2 °C pathways by 2030 but not beyond, while alignment with below 1.5 °C pathways requires more ambition both in the near and longer term.

Both ILA and LLA approaches are applied in practice in diverse local settings across the globe. In brief, ILA aims to bring together stakeholders within a landscape context to design and agree on a common theory of change and to commit towards shared long-term landscape goals.

Na de prijsschok in 2022-2023 verminderden huishoudens hun energiegebruik fors. Er werd geïnvesteerd in energiebesparing en woningen werden minder verwarmd.

Bedrijven en andere partijen uit de samenleving missen een duidelijke toekomstvisie en bijbehorend consistent beleid, dat hen richting geeft bij het maken van lange-termijnkeuzes en onzekerheid wegneemt over welke investeringen en ontwikkelingen bijdragen aan een circulaire toekomst. In de maatschappij bestaan nu verschillende perspectieven op de toekomst van de plasticeconomie. Dit zorgt er voor dat inspanningen elkaar niet versterken en soms zelfs tegenwerken.
