JOLT ARTS is back for the warmer months supporting sonic and visual arts creation and presentation, highlighting contemporary art with and by people with disability and neurodivergent artists. Its work sits at the intersection of arts, disability, technology and social inclusion, supporting artists to develop ambitious projects across music, performance, visual art, digital media and interdisciplinary practice.

PBS is seeking nominations for three Board Director positions at our 2026 Annual General Meeting, with each position for a two-year term. PBS 106.7FM is a not-for-profit, non-commercial community music broadcaster, owned and operated by the Progressive Broadcasting Service Cooperative Ltd. As a cooperative, PBS is governed by a volunteer Board elected from and by its shareholder membership.

Australian instrumental combo The Seven Ups exist between groove and atmosphere. Expansive guitar and warm synth layers stretch outward, grounded by bass and percussion, with horns shifting between restraint and impact. Led by multi-instrumentalist Trent Sterling, the group has carved out its own space across six studio albums, developing a sound that balances locked-in rhythm with immersive texture and long-form explorations.

This week's PBS Feature Album is Music Is Invisible (Pentimento Volume Three) by Jon Hassell. The third part of his Pentimento Trilogy, this album captures the late Jon Hassell performing his final ever concert as part of a trio with Rick Cox and John von Seggern at St John at Hackney church, London in 2015, carefully edited and mixed by Jeff Rona into something that is much more than a traditional ‘live album’.

Stay Soft Market takes over the Collingwood Yards courtyard Saturday October 17, and PBS is providing the soundtrack. This week's PBS Feature Album is Los Ojos del Cóndor by acclaimed Ecuadorian-Swiss brother duo Hermanos Gutiérrez. Described as a "love letter to South America", Estevan and Alejandro Gutiérrez invite listeners to come on a sonic journey with them through the Andes and to foster a curiosity for Latin music culture.

Sunday Sounds returns to Kingston City Hall for a special performance from JAZZPARTY! This November, see the eight piece phenomena from Naarm/Melbourne fronted by incomparable vocalist Loretta Miller and saxophonist Darcy McNulty. JAZZPARTY erupts on stage and record alike as a living, breathing organism, fuelled by the fire of its own searing musicianship. Tickets are free via RSVP.
