Fresh off a huge 2026, R&B star Kehlani has announced they’re heading to Perth next year as part of The Kehlani World Tour. The two-time GRAMMY Award winner will take over RAC Arena on Thursday 18 February 2027, joined by US singer-songwriter and alt-R&B artist Destin Conrad. The tour follows the release of Kehlani’s self-titled fifth studio album in April, which debuted at number four on the Billboard 200 and became the biggest debut for an R&B album by a woman this year.

Next month, Perth Film Studios will be getting its long-awaited close-up by offering the public a proper first look inside the mammoth new facility. Perth-based DJ Incredable is returning to the decks for a new disability-friendly dance party, as a short film sharing her story makes its Australian film festival debut. Cara, otherwise known as DJ Incredable, will be bringing the beats for her upcoming Big Night Out event in September. The event aims to provide people living with disability a way to socialise and build friendships within the community.

The Olivia Wilde 2026 comeback continues with I Want Your Sex, a psychosexual, raunchy romp by director Gregg Araki (Mysterious Skin, The Doom Generation). As hyper-sexualised boss and artist Erika Tracy, Wilde frees herself of the repressed dowdy wife from The Invite, giving us a sexually liberated, sadomasochistic vamp who seduces and dominates her much younger assistant, played by Cooper Hoffman.

Castaway Festival is heading back to Perth this summer, bringing Hilltop Hoods, Violent Soho and Amy Shark to Hillarys in November. The touring festival will kick off its 2026/27 run at Whitfords Nodes Park on Saturday 21 November, before heading east for shows in Melbourne and Wollongong. Australian hip hop heavyweights Hilltop Hoods will headline the Perth leg, joined by recently-reunited Brisbane rock favourites Violent Soho and ARIA Award-winning singer-songwriter Amy Shark.

Former lawyer now Subiaco based full-time artist Max Evangelisti is hosting his first public display of art in 6 years.
