The MCA/MSCA of Cleveland established this $5,000 scholarship in honor of their former Executive Director, Thomas J. Wanner. Thomas Wanner focused on labor relations, collective bargaining, education and training, legislation, codes, and business operations for over three decades.

A new program from Skills Ontario is part of a major funding announcement from the Ministry of Labour, Immigration, Training & Skills Development (MLITSD) via the Skills Development Fund (SDF). Skills Ontario is receiving almost $1.2 million for a new program part of it’s Diversity, Equity, & Inclusion Initiatives called the Trade Up, Move Up Program.
