Pro-terrorist activist Mahmoud Khalil was asked by CNN the other day if he would condemn Hamas. He, of course, would not, calling the question "silly" and "disingenuous." It is not "black and white," he whined. Even if you oppose Israel's reaction to the Oct. 7, 2023, massacre, the answer is still black and white for any person with a conscience. Certainly, it should be for any person who wants to become a naturalized citizen of the United States.
Chris Rock Makes an Excellent Point About Wokeness
I have to confess that I have a huge crush on Chris Rock. That said, I really wasn't even a fan of his until I saw his Selective Outrage Netflix special a few years ago. It came about at a time in my life when I needed some laughs, and I felt it delivered. I've since gone back and watched most of his body of work from over the decades, including his Saturday Night Live appearances, most of his movies, his old talk show, his older stand-up specials, and even a lot of past interviews.
Here's What We Know About the Major Earthquake in Panama
It's been quite a year for earthquakes, hasn't it? In Latin America specifically, there were two major earthquakes in Venezuela in late June that killed thousands, and a big one in Colombia in August that did quite a bit of damage. There have also been several smaller ones throughout the region in between. On Friday, October 9, a major 7.7 magnitude earthquake struck Panama, just before 1:00 p.m. local time. It hit just southwest of Pitaloza Arriba in Herrera province.
He Pulled 15 Sailors Through Enemy Waters — Then They Stood Up for Him
Robert Adrian had shrapnel in his eyes and wounds in his legs when he realized the men on his raft were drifting toward Japanese-held Guadalcanal. Their ship was gone. Enemy guns had fired on sailors struggling in the water. The one uninjured shipmate offered a way out: Charles Jackson French would tow them through the darkness himself. It was the early morning of September 5, 1942. Japanese warships had surprised the American transports USS Gregory and USS Little near the Solomon Islands.
The Left Has Made It Harder to Kill Christa Pike. She Must Die Anyway.
"Capital punishment presents moral questions that philosophers, theologians, and statesmen have grappled with for millennia," wrote Supreme Court Justice Antonin Scalia in a 2015 concurring opinion, so the Constitution's Framers "handled it the same way they handled many other controversial issues: they left it to the People to decide." The late conservative legal titan adduced the Fifth Amendment's guarantee that no person shall be "deprived of life...
An Emergency Is Not Whatever CPS Says It Is
A mother gives birth. Three days later, the state takes her newborn without a court order. Years afterward, a federal appeals court concludes that her allegations plausibly describe unconstitutional conduct, but the officials responsible for the removals remain shielded from those claims. That is the troubling divide at the heart of O’Bryant v.
Trump Turns to Russian Diesel As U.S. Fuel Costs Squeeze Farmers and Truckers
Diesel at $6.28 a gallon changes the math for a Wisconsin farmer bringing in the harvest and for a trucker hauling that crop to market. A year ago, the national average was $3.68; the extra cost follows food and freight through the economy, and President Donald Trump is now looking for an unlikely supplier for relief: Russia.
Talarico Has Been Spotted. His Appearance Creates More Questions Than Answers.
He's back. We think. James Talarico, the Democratic nominee for Senate in Texas, had been off the campaign trail for nearly two weeks — since September 26. My colleagues here at PJ Media have been writing at length about that. His campaign said he had the flu. Here's more on that from Matt Margolis: Talarico was last seen in Texas at a football game on Sept. 26. Invitations show New York City fundraisers with Robert De Niro on Sept. 28 and Sept. 29. Then, on Sept.
Mamdani Frankly Admits to Actions That Are Illegal Under Federal Law
How sad it is that Democrats are so confident they will never face consequences for their illegal actions that they can openly brag about trampling our laws. New York Mayor Zohran Mamdani is having a breakdown after ICE had to shoot an illegal alien in self-defense. The illegal alien is not dead, and he has an extensive criminal history, including gang affiliation, grand larceny, and assault, besides violently attacking federal officers during the arrest.
Wisconsin AG Kaul’s Crime-Lab Leaders’ Firm Won $777,044. Who Approved Outside Work?
Wisconsin Attorney General Josh Kaul must answer a question about two people running his state crime labs: Who approved their outside consulting work, and what safeguards protected their public duties? The question carries a $777,044 price tag, and paperwork leads straight to Colorado. Nicole Roehm, administrator of Wisconsin’s Division of Forensic Sciences, and deputy administrator Jennifer Naugle helped establish Forward Resolutions LLC in 2024.
