What is Coriolis flow measurement?
Coriolis flowmeters are so named because they rely on the physics concept of Coriolis force. Inside these instruments, one or more tubes are oscillated at a frequency induced by pulses from an exciter. As gas or liquid process media flows through each tube, its inertia imposes additional twisting, changing the oscillatory pattern.
Industrial Innovation Awards
The Industrial Innovation Awards celebrate the most impactful innovations in industrial and manufacturing technology, tools, solutions, and equipment. Formerly the NED Innovation Awards, the program has expanded to include both New Equipment Digest and Plant Services—bringing together two trusted industry brands to spotlight breakthrough products that deliver measurable results on the plant floor and across operations.

Quiz: How propulsion manufacturing and safety systems support Artemis II
NASA’s Artemis II mission was the first crewed flight of the Space Launch System (SLS), sending astronauts around the Moon as part of the agency’s broader return-to-deep-space program. Part of the propulsion systems that make this mission possible, the twin five-segment solid rocket boosters, provide the majority of thrust during liftoff. Modern manufacturing techniques, stringent quality assurance, and extensive testing are used to ensure performance and reliability.
