By Adedoyin Oguntade Governor Dapo Abiodun, the governor of Ogun State, paid a visit to the failed sections of the Benin-Sagamu road close to the tollgate on Monday, September 30th. He stated that the road, being a major route from Lagos through Ogun State to the South-East and the South-South parts of the country, has caused inconvenience to commuters due to its poor state.

By Adedoyin Oguntade On September 17, a ghastly accident claimed eighteen lives in a road accident along the Ogbere axis of the Benin-Sagamu expressway. The Traffic Compliance and Enforcement Agency (TRACE) spokesperson, Babatunde Akinbiyi, confirmed that the bad road caused the accident which involved a Toyota Hiace vehicle.

The Platform Times Investigative Journalism Foundation has mobilized students for participation in a nationwide virtual test coming up at the end of August. Oguntade Nafisat, an HND2 student of Accountancy at Federal Polytechnic, Ede, stated that during her ND1 days, her classes used to be held on the first floor of the department. Consequently, she always had to wait for someone to help her and her wheelchair up the stairs, due to her mobility impairment. Nafisat mentioned that during that time, she often experienced a lot of backaches. She explained that in her hostel, there are too many steps, and she always has to ask people for assistance.

Daud Olatunji Two properties owned by the Nigerian government in the United Kingdom are set to be seized by a Chinese investor following a court order enforcing a $70 million investment treaty award against Nigeria.
