Bedlam's four-person production William Shakespeare’s Othello is set to return Off-Broadway. Directed by Eric Tucker, the production features four actors inhabiting the 19 roles of Othello, distilling the play down to its essence.

Olivier winner Elaine Paige, seen on New York stages in Sunset Boulevard, Sweeney Todd, and Follies, has released the second single from her forthcoming album, Miscellaneous Paige. Listen to "August Winds"—written by Sting for The Last Ship, which debuted as an album in 2013 and reached the Broadway stage the following year—in the video above. Miscellaneous Paige will be released July 17 via Westway Music.

Off-Broadway's 59E59 Theaters has added Mrs. Stern Wanders the Prussian State Library to its upcoming programming. Presented by Luna Stage and Richard Jordan Productions with Traverse Theatre, the drama will run September 12-October 25 in Theater A. Written by Jenny Lyn Bader and directed by Ari Laura Kreith, Mrs.

Tony nominee Julia Lester (Into the Woods, High School Musical: The Musical: The Series) will lead the company of Melissa Maney's Hungry Women, making an Off-Broadway return at SoHo Playhouse July 23-August 30, officially opening July 25. Daniella Caggiano is directing. The work explores a world in which men have gone extinct, covering 200 years of survival, identity, sexuality, motherhood, and power in the absence of patriarchy. The play won SoHo Playhouse's Lighthouse Series last year.

The current North American touring production of Disney’s Beauty and the Beast welcomes two new cast members beginning July 7 at the Civic Theatre in San Diego, California. Joining the company are Christina Rose Hall (Les Misérables) as Mrs. Potts and Aaron Kaburick (Mrs. Doubtfire; Hello, Dolly!) as Maurice. The production will also celebrate its first anniversary July 10. They production stars Kyra Belle Johnson as Belle and Fergie L.

Second Stage Theater has revealed the creative team behind the long-awaited Broadway premiere of The Fantasticks. The new version of Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt's record-breaking Off-Broadway musical, which reimagines its central romantic pair as a same-sex couple—will begin performances at the Hayes October 22, with opening night set for November 16.

There are some new queens headed for SIX the Musical's Broadway castle (aka the Lena Horne Theatre)! Owning Manhattan star Chloe Tucker Caine, and singer-songwriter Stephanie Jae Park will begin their reigns in the Tony Award-winning hit musical August 17, to continue through February 14, 2027. Caine will make her Broadway debut as Anne Boleyn, taking over the role from Pentatonix star Kirstin Maldonado, who will play her final performance August 9.

Vanessa Williams is calling an early departure in The Devil Wears Prada in London's West End. The stage and screen star had most recently been announced to be starring in the musical at the Dominion Theatre as Miranda Priestly through October 17. Her final bow will now be September 19. Replacement casting is to be announced.

To celebrate the 20th anniversary of Duncan Sheik and Steven Sater's Tony-winning Spring Awakening, Decca Broadway will release the first-ever vinyl recording of the musical's original cast August 14. Produced in collaboration with show creators Sater and Sheik, the Twentieth Anniversary Edition has been newly mastered for vinyl by Ryan K. Smith at Sterling Sound and includes two previously unreleased archival recordings.
