Jornal Plural Curitiba is an independent journalistic vehicle created by and for its readers. We were born from a successful crowdfunding campaign in Catarse in January 2019 with the mission of producing quality local journalism. After attracting over a thousand subscribers via Catarse, Plural created its news portal and also launched its own subscription platform . We have no commercial or other relationship with governments, parties or public bodies . We do not receive money from public advertising. Our revenues come from our subscribers , supporters and partners, who every month guarantee the city the gift of clear, quality and public interest information . This guarantees us a privileged position to produce journalism concerned with Curitiba and the people of Curitiba. Journalism whose main concern is the public interest , the desire for citizens to make informed decisions and a commitment to accuracy and facts . Source
