Dawn Raids apology to take place on August 1 July 15, 2021 The government's apology for the Dawn Raids has been rescheduled for Sunday 1st of August at the Auckland Town Hall. The event was postponed last month due to the Wellington alert level changes. The initial announcement of the Dawn Raids apology came following months of pressure from the Pasifika community, who created a petition and wrote an open letter to the government, urging them to apologise.
