Pollinis

Non-profit
POLLINIS is an independent NGO that works to stop the extinction of bees and other pollinating insects on which all biodiversity depends. Financed exclusively by donations from citizens, the non-profit association puts pressure on public authorities to oblige them to urgently restore an environment favorable to all arthropods and contributes itself to this restoration through field projects. . This unavoidable objective to succeed in saving life and the environment for future generations necessarily includes the transition to an agricultural model without pesticides and other synthetic chemical inputs that contaminate all environments. Entirely based on the commitment and support of citizens on whose behalf it takes a stand and carries out its actions, POLLINIS bases all its actions for the conservation or transformation of public policies on the observation of scientists: everywhere in the world, insects – essential ecosystems, agriculture and food security – are disappearing at a staggering rate. Founded in 2012, the association now brings together more than a million citizens across Europe. Source
