The outdoor pool reopened on July 22 following a major redevelopment. The project transformed the aging facility in central Oshawa and brought the nearly 100-year-old park into a new era.
New North Vancouver recreation centre set for full opening

Image courtesy North Vancouver Recreation and Culture Commission A new, $230 million recreation centre in North Vancouver will open its doors on August 17, with a 10-lane, 25 m pool that will open later this year. The 17,507 m2 (188,450 sf) Harry Jerome Community Recreation Centre opened in stages. Drop-in and “try-it” activities began July 27, while staff continued to prepare some facilities for use.

Hamilton schedules fall closures for recreation centre upgrades

Bennetto Community Centre closed on August 4 and will remain closed until fall this year while crews renovate the auditorium, gymnasium, and washrooms.
