A couple weeks ago we reposted Ferenc Koscsó's article introducing a minimalist, bit-perfect music player, written in C, with a single purpose: to deliver the music file data stream to the DAC by the shortest, most deterministic path, untouched, in its original form. Greetings friends, I hope you are well. 🙂 The title of this post includes part of a comment made by friend Yazaki-san to me about a new amplifier technology developed by Jun Honda at Infineon.

My house was built in 1970, and the AC power was pretty ratty. Flickering lights I can handle; visible arcing, not so much. As a plucky new homeowner, I first tried to tackle it myself by replacing some obviously questionable Cutler Hammer breakers and sanding away corrosion – after taping a copy of my will to the refrigerator door, just in case. It ended up being a waste of time, but the good news is that any residual trembling eventually subsided after only a couple of weeks.

Not far from Copenhagen! Note that I attended only a small fraction of the events out there, and I mostly attended the events that I thought would be personally interesting. If I missed something you thought was critical don't be surprised since I missed some things that I thought were critical too but I couldn't be at two places at once.
