Chautauqua County Sheriff’s Office cruisers began escorting the hearse carrying deputy Michael Seeley, 44, near I-86 in Findley Lake Monday afternoon. Seeley, who gained widespread praise in 2013 for helping to save the life of a man and known for his career in emergency services, died Friday night at the Cleveland Clinic following a brief battle with leukemia. The funeral for deputy Seeley will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the First Lutheran Church. The Rev. Daniel K. Nagle, pastor will officiate.
