Sonnet Technologies has announced the Solo10G T5, a bus-powered Thunderbolt 5 to 10GBASE-T 10 Gigabit Ethernet adapter with NBASE-T (multi-gigabit) support. The latest addition to its family of Thunderbolt, USB-C and PCIe Ethernet network adapters, the Solo10G T5 adapter adds a 10 Gigabit Ethernet (10GbE) port to Mac, Windows and Linux computers with Thunderbolt or USB4 ports and M series iPad Pro tablets.

Digital Domain was the primary VFX vendor on Steven Spielberg’s Disclosure Day, delivering 418 final shots from 544 turned-over shots. Led by VFX supervisor Joel Behrens and VFX producer Dan Booty, the work involved nearly 400 artists across the studio’s North America and Hyderabad offices. Production work began in January 2025 and continued through April 2026.

SGO has introduced Workflows Slate, a web-based application for creating burn-ins and slate templates using metadata-driven workflows. Burn-ins and slates are often created within editing and finishing applications that aren’t specifically designed for the task. Workflows Slate moves the process to the browser, allowing users to create and manage burn-ins and slate templates without working directly in those applications.

Digital Anarchy  has updated its real-time skin retouching application for video editors with the release of Beauty Box v6.5. With this new update, Digital Anarchy is adding a new filter for eye and teeth whitening that uses machine learning to identify those areas. In addition to shine removal, these new features allow video editors to use Beauty Box’s traditional algorithms along with AI to create a better-looking, more sophisticated image.
