The reimagined venue will blend sports, luxury and entertainment, according to a press release. It will feature signature details from the original club, including framed jerseys from its archives, grand chandeliers and stadium-style seating.

Task and House of the Dragon are among the shows returning for another season on HBO. The network announced Thursday that Task, the Mark Ruffalo-starring crime drama series, will be back for season 2, while the Game of Thrones prequel House of the Dragon will return for season 4. The third season of House of the Dragon will air in summer 2026, with the fourth season airing in 2028.

Victoria Monét has announced she’s pursuing her “lifelong dream” of becoming a chef. “I’ve been super passionate about recipes that you can pass down from generation to generation and how food makes people feel when they’re communing together,” she said in an Instagram video. The upcoming espionage thriller series Ponies now has a premiere date. Peacock has announced that the show will debut to the platform on Jan. 15. The show is set in Moscow in the year 1977. Emilia Clarke and Haley Lu Richardson star as two women who work as secretaries in the American Embassy. When their husbands are killed mysteriously in the USSR, the duo become CIA operatives … Tulsa King is in need of a showrunner.

Cynthia Erivo has made her first public comments regarding the Nov. 13 incident in which Ariana Grande was accosted by an online prankster during the Wicked:For Good premiere in Singapore. Erivo told Savannah Guthrie on NBC’s Today show Thursday why she stepped between the man, Johnson Wen, and her co-star Grande, and physically pulled him off her before security took him away. “I was really thinking, I just wanted to make sure my friend was safe,” Erivo told Guthrie.

The Weeknd is now the $1 billion man. The singer’s ongoing After Hours Til Dawn Tour just put tickets on sale for 2026 dates in Mexico, Brazil, Europe and the U.K., bringing the trek’s overall gross to more than $1 billion across 153 shows since 2022. As it made its way through North America twice, as well as Europe, the U.K., Latin America and Australia, it’s sold 7.5 million tickets. All that means that the tour is now the top-earning trek by a male solo artist in history.

Tyler, The Creator‘s impact on music and culture will be celebrated, as he’s been named Apple Music’s Artist of the Year. A press release states he’s had the most worldwide plays, listeners and hours listened on the platform in 2025. Chromakopia became Apple Music’s most successful album to date, factoring first-day and first-week sales, while Don’t Tap The Glass topped Apple Music’s overall charts in over 55 countries. Apple says 2025 has been Tyler’s best year on the service.

We have our first look at The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping. Lionsgate has released a teaser for the prequel film, which shows a young Haymitch Abernathy, played by Joseph Zada, being chosen as a tribute for the 50th Hunger Games. The teaser shows glimpses of the arena and counts down from 10 as we see the tributes – 48 instead of the usual 24 – prepare to fight to the death.
