The Rookie season 8 has put our characters through the wringer and it's not over yet
Los Angeles’ first responders aren't just dealing with city turmoil but also personal issues that affect them on and off the clock. All those storylines lead to confusion about what's happening with our favorite characters on The Rookie. Season 8 hasn't slowed down from undercover jobs to explosions and on-duty stabbings. Nolan and the others are always on edge.
There is no new Sherriff Country or Boston Blue tonight (and the bad news doesn’t stop there)
I’m afraid I’ve got some bad news for the Sheriff Country and Boston Blue fans looking to enjoy a new episode of their favorite Friday night crime dramas on March 20. CBS’s hit Friday night crime dramas are both off the schedule for the night, as CBS will be turning over its primetime lineup to March Madness. That’s right, on March 20, CBS will be bringing fans a double-header of March Madness coverage, which kicks off at 7 p.m. ET.
The Rookie fans could be seeing less of this recurring character next season
It’s pilot season time, which means networks are casting new projects, hoping to win a place in the fall TV season. Among them is NBC’s upcoming reboot ofThe Rockford Files. The original 1970s series starred James Garner as Jim Rockford, an ex-con turned private eye. A long-running hit that earned Garner an Emmy award, the show was a template for every private eye series that followed. This new version keeps the same plotline with David Boreanaz of Bones and SEAL Team fame as the new Rockford.
Elsbeth is sadly not new tonight (and it won't be back this month)
Thursdays won’t quite be the same the next two weeks for Elsbeth fans. CBS’s quirky crime drama is taking the final weeks of March off, and we have basketball to blame. March is nearing its end, but March Madness is just heating up, which sadly is causing some headaches for CBS fans. With CBS bringing fans primetime coverage of the 2026 NCAA March Madness tournament, Elsbeth is one of a handful of CBS shows that are getting pulled from the CBS schedule to make room for the primetime NCAA coverage.
Sean Murray unpacks how that shocking NCIS twist changes McGee
NCIS just threw a huge shock into Tim McGee's life and Sean Murray talks of how this is going to change the character! Elsbeth adds showstopping guest stars to bring season 3 to a close
When Elsbeth returns to the airwaves after the NCAA Tournament, the show will continue bringing some showstopping star power in its guest star roles, especially as the third season comes to an end. A trio of talented actors is joining the hit crime drama, as Patti LuPone, Michael Urie, and Erich Bergen will all make appearances over the final two episodes of season 3.
Will Trent star teases fans are going to be floored by final season 4 episodes
Will Trent just gave fans a wild episode, but star Ramon Rodriguez is hinting that this is only the start of the crazy twists to come! Caution: This article contains SPOILERS for Will Trent season 4, episode 11 Will Trent has been wrestling all season with a mental hallucination of serial killer James Ulster (Greg Germann). When a murder victim hints someone is copying Ulster, Will flies to Puerto Rico to check in on his uncle Antonio (John Ortiz).
High Potential’s mysterious new villain will be sticking around
As High Potential fans know, the long-range plotline for the ABC series is Morgan (Kaitlin Olson) seeking answers to the long-ago vanishing of her former boyfriend, Roman. That’s led to various turns indicating Roman was part of some criminal investigation. In the March 17 episode, Soto (Judy Reyes) went to track down a lead by flying out to New York City despite the concerns of Captain Nick Wagner (Steve Howey).
NCIS: Origins boss teases potential for more Pride: ‘Stay tuned’
Caution: This article contains SPOILERS for NCIS: Origins season 2, episode 11, “Feelin’ Alright?” The March 17 episode of NCIS: Origins introduced a younger version of a famous NCIS face. As part of a murder case, Gibbs (Austin Stowell) met up with NIS New Orleans agent Dwayne Pride (Shea Buckner), the future leader of NCIS: New Orleans (played by Scott Bakula in that series). It wasn’t a pleasant meeting, to be sure.
