The association is an exclusively scientific committee whose purpose is to promote human health safety and to advance human biomedicine , by taking advantage of the progress of science - biology in particular - which can contribute to this END. The association carries out, supports and encourages the search for new or innovative concepts and processes that can contribute to its objective, the development, verification, promotion, teaching, dissemination and application of these concepts and processes. The association critically assesses, based on purely scientific, rational and logical considerations, the suitability of the methods and procedures used to ensure health safety and advance medical research. Confirming the principle of precaution, the association undertakes to denounce any procedure or method that it has identified as misleading or dangerous for this purpose. In particular, the Committee came to the conclusion that the biological reactions of one living species do not model those of another, even a very similar one. Consequently, since no species can serve as a reliable biological model for another, the Committee denounces the error and the danger of validating for humans the results of studies carried out on any other species . Means of action The means of action of the association are in particular the holding of work meetings and periodic assemblies, the publication of a bulletin, conferences, symposiums, congresses, publications and, in general, all initiatives that can help in the realization of the purpose of the association. In addition, the association makes its expertise available to public or private bodies, the media, associations pursuing the same goal . It intends to exercise all its recognized rights, in particular the possibility of taking civil action against initiatives threatening human health security.
