UAE endurance team defends World Young Horses titles in Portugal
LISBON, 10th September, 2026 (WAM) -- The UAE national endurance team is set to defend its individual and team titles at the FEI Endurance World Championship for Young Horses (8-year-olds) in Barroca d'Alva, Portugal. Iran claims capture of US autonomous submersible
WASHINGTON, D.C.: Iran's Revolutionary Guards said on September 8 that its forces had captured a U.S. unmanned underwater vessel near the entrance to the Strait of Hormuz. The claim has drawn attention to the growing use of autonomous underwater drones in military operations. Iranian state media identified the vessel as a Dive-LD, a large autonomous underwater vehicle developed by California-based defense company Anduril.

EVENDALE, Ohio: GE Aerospace will acquire Consolidated Precision Products for US$11.75 billion, bringing a major supplier of precision castings in-house as the company seeks to increase manufacturing capacity amid strong demand for aircraft engines, spare parts and defense products. The acquisition of CPP from investment firms Warburg Pincus and Berkshire Partners will be GE Aerospace's largest since it became a standalone company.
