On 19 August, a major milestone was reached in the expansion of Hiab’s MULTILIFT production facility in Raisio, as the foundation stone was laid for the EUR 19 million investment announced in May 2025. Hiab’s Leadership Team was on site to mark the occasion and celebrate the start of the next chapter for the facility.

Total Movements Pvt.Ltd, member to the Worldwide Project Consortium (WWPC) in India, successfully executed the door-to-port movement of 10 × 80 tons 3300 HP Diesel-Electric Locomotives, along with bogies and associated components, from the supplier’s works in India to Mozambique. The transportation of these heavy and over-dimensional railway assets involved careful planning, specialized handling, and close coordination across multiple stages of the logistics chain.

Höegh Autoliners ASA is pleased to announce that it has decided to order six additional new dual-fuel LNG and zero-carbon-ready Aurora class vessels for delivery in 2029–2031. This decision will extend Höegh Autoliners’ Aurora class newbuilding program to a total of eighteen vessels, all of which will be built by China Merchants Heavy Industry (Jiangsu) Co., Ltd. (CMHI).

Central Oceans have successfully completed the first shipment of 30 railway cars from China to Brazil, delivered in sailings together with our trusted partners. From the outset, this project called for meticulous planning. Railway cars present a demanding cargo profile — oversized, high-value, and requiring precise handling at every stage. Each unit had to be loaded in strict accordance with detailed and complex loading requirements, leaving no margin for error during the operation.

This weekend brought bad news, but not new news — not to HOPA, nor Ontario’s port cities. We put our response into action when it became clear the future would look very different. CTO Global Logistics in Brazil have successfully coordinated the specialised door-to-port project transportation of marine hoses from Guarulhos to the Port of Santos for shipment to Nhava Sheva, India. The cargo was transported using 40′ flat-racks, with careful planning and coordination of the inland transportation, loading, and cargo securing to ensure a safe and efficient operation.

Bertling Singapore team was recently tasked with an urgent hand-carry shipment of 125 kg of critical components from Malaysia to Darwin, supporting an offshore natural gas project. The shipment consisted of seven cartons and needed to reach the project site by the following morning. The request came in with only a few hours to spare, requiring the team to arrange the collection, secure the flight and coordinate customs clearance within the same day.
