At CEDIA 2026, madVR Labs launched madAssist, a patent-pending AI Product Expert platform to answer questions across the full spectrum of customer needs, guide users through expertly designed processes and, when integrated with a supported product, directly analyze and configure it. Launching now with support for the madVR Envy video processor, madAssist is also available to other AV manufacturers.

At CEDIA, Epson showcased its latest home projection solutions, highlighting new possibilities for premium viewing experiences across a range of spaces and applications. The company demonstrated how its Q-Series platform combines high brightness, exceptional image performance, and a compact form factor to bring immersive cinema experiences to more rooms.

At CEDIA 2026, Steven Shulman, CEO of AWALL, explained his company's partnership with XGIMI in the creation and marketing of a new projector brand for the custom integration channel called X-Wall. With X-Wall, XGIMI is contributing its engineering and manufacturing scale and AWALL its understanding of the American home theater market, a nationwide network of specialty AV dealers and integrators, and a U.S.-based service organization.

At CEDIA 2026, Christie made the CEDIA debut of its 4K1000-KS model from the Korus Series of 1DLP projectors. Backed by a five-year or 20,000-hour warranty, it combines a lightweight, ultra-compact chassis with versatile lens options, including an ultra-short-throw Z-shaped lens, for flexible integration into any space at an MSRP of $14,461. At CEDIA 2026, Magnetar unveiled ULTIMA, the world's first luxury universal media transport featuring a dedicated DC power stage. Engineered as a pure reference source, ULTIMA is designed to preserve source integrity from disc to display for the most demanding home cinema and high-performance audio systems. At its core is a dedicated battery-assisted DC power architecture that provides isolated power to critical transport, clocking, and digital signal circuits.

At CEDIA 2026, SIM2 introduced "Seeing First," a new approach to projection engineering that begins not with the projector or its specification sheet, but with the person watching the image. SIM2 brought this approach to life through a dedicated private cinema experience, centered on the UltraNero 4S DUO, a dual-engine projection system engineered to create one image through two complementary imaging paths. For more than 30 years, SIM2 has focused on high-end home cinema projection.

At CEDIA Expo 2026, Sony featured its Bravia Projector 7/XW5100ES is the latest addition to Sony's Bravia Projector lineup, along its predecessor models Projector 8 and 9. These premium home cinema projectors employ Sony's XR Processor for projectors, which supports advanced features such as XR Dynamic Tone Mapping, XR Deep Black, XR Triluminos Pro, XR Clear Image, and Enhanced Brightness.

At CEDIA Expo 2026, EPV Screens showcased the latest innovations in projection screen technology, including a massive 140" floor-rising motorized screen, which is now available in sizes up to 152", and their full lineup of premium projection screen materials (including DarkStar ALR), offered in both electric and fixed-frame configurations.
