Other backers include IFC, Enza Capital, and 212 Founders. According to the company, this marks the largest Series A funding round completed by a startup in Morocco to date. While the company did not disclose the transaction value, sources said the combined value of the acquired properties is estimated at around ₹800 crore. The newly acquired hotel assets will be operated within PRISM’s brand ecosystem. This includes brands such as Sunday Hotels, Belvilla, and other formats deemed suitable for the properties.
GoCanopy gets €2.1M seed funding for AI real estate platform
London-based GoCanopy has raised €2.1 million in seed funding to advance its AI-driven operating system for institutional real estate investors. The round was led by ISAI, with participation from BNP Paribas Développement, Yellow, and several angel investors. The company plans to use the capital to automate planning, pricing, and execution workflows for interior construction in large-scale projects. The round was co-led by StageOne Ventures, SecretChord, and Timber Grove Ventures. Maccabee Ventures and GC Ventures also participated.
PropertyPistol Raises $2.7 M
Proptech startup PropertyPistol has raised $2.7 Mn (INR 25 Cr) in a Pre-Series B funding round led by investor Ashish Kacholia. Existing investors also participated in the round. The company plans to use the fresh capital to expand its footprint in the UAE, with a near-term focus on Dubai. Earlier this month, PropertyPistol announced an AED 10 Mn (~INR 25 Lakh) investment to scale its operations in the region.
Property Finder raises $170 M in Mubadala-led funding round
UAE-based proptech firm Property Finder has raised $170 million in a fresh funding round led by Mubadala Investment Company, along with another UAE sovereign wealth fund and BECO Capital. Under the transaction, Mubadala and the unnamed sovereign wealth fund will each invest $75 million. BECO Capital has committed $20 million through its newly launched $250 million Growth Fund I.
