Adding that to the body of work of the class of 2027 (juniors) means it’s time to refresh the ProspectsNation.com player rankings. This update, which precedes this group’s final year on the travel circuit, sees the rankings expand to an ELITE 60 as well as an expanding Watch List of the ELITE 150.

COLORADO SPRINGS, Colorado – The spring season is coming to a close which means the USA Basketball club is gearing up for FIBA competitions for its women’s teams across multiple age groups. Memorial Day Weekend is always reserved for the youngest group, which this year is 16-and under.

Jennie Baranczyk and her staff added Chavez, the top player in the 2025 class after outlasting the likes of Texas, Texas Tech and many others. The addition should have a huge impact on the program heading to the Sweet 16 this weekend. Chavez, a Lubbock, Texas, native, has been one of the most prolific offensive players in the country.

Agot Makeer of Thunder Bay, Ontario, Canada, made her commitment to South Carolina this week. She was the second highest ranked 2025 prospect on the board still, following top-ranked Aaliyah Chavez of Lubbock, Texas.
