The Program of the Party for Socialism and Liberation was adopted by the First Party Congress of the PSL in February 2010, and amended in subsequent congresses in 2013, 2016, 2019, and 2022. The Party for Socialism and Liberation believes that the only solution to the deepening crisis of capitalism is the socialist transformation of society. Driven by an insatiable appetite for ever greater profits regardless of social cost, capitalism is on a collision course with the people of the world and the planet itself.

Millions of people in the U.S. want change. Capitalism and the two-party system are increasingly unpopular. The question is: where do we go from here? We don’t have access to the same resources that the billionaires do. We can’t buy TV ads or spend billions of dollars on electoral campaigns. Our power comes from building a movement where we take action together — a socialist movement to fight for a society where working people are in power and have our basic needs guaranteed.
