Partick Thistle Youth Academy graduate Daniel Gray has joined Kilwinning Rangers on a loan deal until January, subject to Scottish FA clearance. The 18-year-old forward joins the Buffs having signed his two-year modern apprenticeship contract in June before featuring in both of our open-door pre-season friendlies, including a start against Pollok at Newlandsfield Park.

Last season, we once again claimed our place as the best part-time team in the country. A dramatic top-six finish — our third in the last four years — cemented our place among the leading teams in the SWPL. Now, we’re ready to do it all over again. Manager Gary Holt has assembled an exciting squad packed with talent, personality and attacking firepower, bringing together some of the brightest young players in the game with some of the biggest names in the SWPL.

Applications are now open for Thistle fans who wish to take on a role at the heart of the club as a Fan Representative Director. Since 2024, Fan Representatives have served on the club board, providing a vital bridge between the wider Thistle fanbase and the Club’s Board of Directors. They are there to ensure supporter voices are at the heart of the Club’s decision-making and culture, and to improve engagement and communication with the 2,500+ fan owners.

The monthly PTFC Lotto draw took place over the weekend at the WrightKerr Stadium at Firhill. The winning numbers were 6, 25 and 31 and there was no winner of the £13,000 jackpot prize which has now been rolled over with an additional £500 added. There were five ‘Lucky Dip’ winners and their prizes are as follows: £50 David Fowler Alana Ross Alan Roberts Signed top Emma Sweeney Carol McCabe The Jackpot prize for our next draw now sits at £13,500 and that draw will be made on 16th September.

We return to league action this Friday night when we travel to the Sarens PSG Stadium to take on Inverness in the William Hill Championship and tickets for the game are on sale now! Travelling Thistle supporters will be housed in section G, H, J and K of the South Stand for this fixture. Supporters can save money on their tickets by purchasing in advance.

Match Report Partick Thistle’s Premier Sports Cup dreams were put on hold for another year as they bowed out at the Last 16 stage following a 1-0 defeat to Hibernian at Easter Road on Sunday. It was a first trip to Leith for the Firhill faithful in eight years, with over 2,000 Jags fans making the trip to the capital, singing loudly throughout the game.

Last night the Alan Rough Lounge was at capacity as the WrightKerr Stadium at Firhill hosted a book launch for ‘Partick Thistle: A People’s History’ by Kenny Pieper. There were 200 supporters in attendance for an evening which featured an introduction from the author, a question-and-answer session with former Jags who contributed to the book and the opportunity to get copies signed by those Thistle legends.

There will be a Meet the Board event at the WrightKerr Stadium at Firhill on Thursday, 27th August. As a new season gets underway, supporters are invited to spend the evening in the Alan Rough Lounge to meet the board, find out more about events at the club in 2026 and pose questions to directors. Partick Thistle are thrilled to announce the signings of Sienna McGoldick and Darra Dawson on loan from Celtic for the 2026/27 campaign. McGoldrick arrives back in Red and Yellow after a sucessful spell on loan at the tail-end of last season where she announced herself in Thistle colours with the goal in added time that secured top six football only hours after putting pen to paper on that loan deal. The goal going on to win Goal of the Season at the end of season PTW Awards.
