DETROIT (July 15, 2026) - Drivers should expect a detour near the section of West Grand Boulevard that runs in front of Henry Ford Hospital this weekend. The road will be closed from 6 p.m. on Friday, July 17, through 8 p.m., Sunday, July 19, just west of the Lodge Freeway. Crews working on Destination: Grand, Henry Ford Hospital's campus expansion project, have a permit from the City of Detroit to close the boulevard while they install a new pedestrian bridge over the road.
