Ugandan content creator Timothy Kayanja, popularly known as Jayden, is out of danger after undergoing a successful bone marrow surgery. The update was shared by media personality Gideon Nova Kwikiriza, who said Jayden had come out of theatre safely. “This is to inform you all that our very own, our boy Jayden had a successful bone marrow surgery and is both out of theater and danger,” Kwikiriza posted on X. VBD Dance Crew have been crowned Uganda’s best dance crew after winning the Tusker Lite Neon Raves national finale at Next Media Park on Saturday. The Kampala-based crew beat 17 other teams from Hoima, Masaka, Mbarara, Arua, Gulu and Kampala in a contest filled with drama, culture, humour and bold stage ideas. Shalom Namagembe, the daughter of National Unity Platform president Robert Kyagulanyi, alias Bobi Wine, and author Barbie Kyagulanyi, has reached a new academic milestone after qualifying as a certified phlebotomy technician in the United States. Shalom revealed that she had completed all the requirements set by the National Healthcareer Association (NHA) and officially earned her Certified Phlebotomy Technician (CPT) credential on June 26, 2026.

Opposition MPs have challenged President Museveni's remarks on bail, arguing that the Constitution guarantees every accused person the right to apply for release while awaiting trial. Uganda has joined the Invictus Games community, becoming the 26th participating nation and the first East African country to enter the global sports movement for wounded and injured service personnel. Several people are feared dead after an Opit Travellers bus collided with a trailer truck in Omoro District on Tuesday night. The crash happened at about 11pm at Kulu Otit Village in Bobi Sub-county, along the Kampala-Gulu highway. Preliminary reports indicate that the bus was travelling from Kampala to Gulu City when it was involved in a head-on collision with the truck.
