Fantastic plastic! Fire Cars, as my five-year-old son calls Hot Wheels, has been a staple in my life since he found a free-to-play Hot Wheels game on his tablet. Yes, he has a tablet. Yes, I’m a terrible father and I’m losing that title to a bloody touch screen. A touch screen and a regular screen, apparently.

A tricky treat this Halloween. Headup Games and Thunderful Publishing have announced that they’ll be bringing the awesome Pumpkin Jack to PS5 and Xbox Series X|S on October 27th, 2021. And for those who already own the game on PS4/Xbox One, the next-gen upgrade will be completely free – no $10 charge this time around! Pumpkin Jack on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will run at 60fps and will feature some next-gen ray-tracing, bringing the vibrant and colourful world to life in new and exciting ways.

The trophy list has been revealed. TrueTrophies has posted the entire list of trophies for Back 4 Blood ahead of the game’s launch next month. The list shows there will be 56 trophies in total, including a platinum trophy. Interestingly, there are no silver trophies up for grabs, so presumably, you’ll be sinking a lot of time collecting bronze trophies if you’re on the hunt for that almighty platinum trophy.

Time is dwindling away Publisher Humble Games and developer Studio Pixel Punk have announced that the action RPG Unsighted will be launching on September 30 for PS4, Xbox One, Switch and PC. Alma is an Automaton machine who awakens in a world torn apart from a savage war against humans. Alma must travel across the vast ruin city of Arcadia before the life force of their friends and themselves fades away forever.

Humble Beginnings Sherlock Holmes Chapter One is officially coming to PS5 on November 16th, but if you’re playing on PS4 you’ll need to wait a bit longer. Frogwares’ ambitious prequel to its Sherlock Holmes serves as a bold reimagining of the mythos. Sherlock Holmes Chapter One will put players in the shoes of a young Sherlock still trying to find his feet as a detective.

Mo’ money, mo’ cars, init? Hot Wheels Unleashed holds the distinction of being one of the only modern racing games to include the classic comic book hero Snoopy among its roster. Peanuts’ Snoopy has taken his time to leave the wild antics of the deadly neighbourhood to do some arcade racing. Truly a hero of the ages. Oh, and there’s Batman, too, but he’s always been a joyriding, thrill-seeking menace. No surprise he’s shown up.

Let’s be honest, who doesn’t like an excuse to go out drinking? Well, unless you’re a teetotal or attempting to maintain a healthy lifestyle; then maybe you wouldn’t like it.
