From the LCC bus info pages: West Lancs Services: Services 5 & 6 Ormskirk Town Services From 29 March, Vision Bus will take over the operation of these services from Charlton Minicoaches on behalf of Lancashire County Council.

Cheapest - EG on Liverpool Road, Aughton (£146.7) and dearest - Booths at £165.9 a whopping c. 18p a litre more. It proved an expensive weekend in the Blaxall household with three out of six cars (two petrol and one diesel) all filled up at a cost of £170.01...

They're taking waste water from the Southport Treatment Works in Marshside to a sister station in Fazakerley, along with a number of artic tanker wagons. Statement from United Utilities: 'Our team has been carrying out repairs to a pipe. As part of this work, we are currently using tankers to transport some waste to alternative sites to be treated.
